Comox Valley RCMP

The local RCMP detachment covering Courtenay, Comox, Cumberland, the broader regional district, K’ómoks First Nation, and the Gulf Islands (Denman and Hornby). If you need police services in the valley, whether that’s reporting a crime, getting fingerprints done, or accessing victim services, this is where you go.
They’re open weekdays 8:30am to 4:30pm at 800 Ryan Road in Courtenay. If you’re reporting a crime that already happened, their online tool can be faster than coming in person.
Police Information Checks and fingerprinting run first-come, first-served during specific windows: 8:30–11:45am and 2:00–3:45pm. Bring ID and expect a wait during busy times.
For actual emergencies, call 911 obviously. The non-emergency line is for everything else.
